Mama JUTTA’s Difficult Birth: Remembering Her Baby

Today, 23 August 2026, we have a very sad moment to share with everyone who follows our monkey family. Mama Monkey JUTTA gave birth to a baby, but unfortunately, the baby was stillborn and did not survive.

This is especially heartbreaking because JUTTA is an experienced mother who has already raised many babies. She has successfully cared for her little ones in the past, making today’s difficult birth an unexpected and painful event for her and for everyone watching over the troop.

A stillborn birth can happen in many animal species, including wild and captive primates. Sometimes, despite a mother’s strength and experience, a pregnancy or delivery does not end successfully. We do not want to assume the exact cause of JUTTA’s loss without professional veterinary examination.

What makes this moment particularly sad is that this is the first time this year that JUTTA has experienced such a difficult outcome during delivery. Until now, she has been a strong and caring mother to her many babies.

JUTTA may need time to recover physically and emotionally from this difficult experience. The troop will continue with its normal daily activities, while we hope JUTTA can rest and regain her strength.

We want to share this story respectfully, not to create sadness or fear, but to help our viewers understand that birth in the animal world does not always have a happy ending. Every new baby is precious, and unfortunately, sometimes nature brings an outcome that we cannot change.

Rest peacefully, little baby JUTTA. ❤️

Our hearts are with Mama JUTTA today. We hope she will recover well and continue to be the strong and loving mother that she has always been.

Thank you to everyone who cares about JUTTA and our monkey family. Your kindness, understanding, and respect mean a lot to us during this difficult moment.
